About the program
The Maoz organization is involved in constructing a network of change agents from the social, governmental, and private sectors, with the goal of driving initiatives that will strengthen Israel’s socio-economic robustness. In 2013, as part of its efforts to promote leadership and develop change agents among students and academics, the Foundation joined forces with Maoz in two main tracks:
- Support for Maoz-led leadership programs that address the Foundation’s areas of interest, such as promoting appropriate employment of outstanding students in the public sector, addressing employment challenges in Israel, etc.
- Establishing a broad network of reserve leaders that will leverage the impact of “Atudot Le’Yisrael” (Israel Reserves), in which the Foundation is a central partner, and strengthen the potential success of cadets and fellows – as leaders operating in the Israeli public sphere.
Goals
- Establishing an infrastructure for a network of socio-economic change agents in Israel.
- Cultivation and encouragement of leadership for socio-economic initiatives.
Mode of operation
Maoz identifies leaders who are motivated by a sense of mission and responsibility, and who represent diverse communities in Israeli society. The organization assists them in leading changes and promoting a perception of national responsibility, including through training in one of the world’s leading academic institutions. All this is done in order to create a diverse and multi-disciplinary network that leads to socio-economic change processes.
